As a committed chef, Olivier Chaput founded in 2011 the association ‘Les Enfants Cuisinent, l’association des chefs qui s’invitent à l’école’ and co-founded the ‘Festival #BON, ramène tes parents’.

For 10 years, the association has been carrying out workshops in schools and all structures that welcome children, such as hospitals for example. Olivier and the heads of the association don’t just pass on the keys to good eating and eating well to children, they educate them, without making them feel guilty, about healthy eating and the fight against waste; make them aware that ecology and sustainable development also go through the plate. During workshops, they introduce them to working the land, the know-how of producers, locavore, the seasonality of products and “anti-waste” recipes where everything (or almost!) is recovered to be cooked differently.
